It strikes me that the spheres of the internet and other such places that people are exposed to radically differ amongst individuals - sounds rather obvious, but there are so many comments here that say, 'oh, this is the minority of feminists' or, 'I wish more feminists were like this,' whereas this is the really the ONLY type of feminist I've seen, one who embraces the true definition and is part of a movement I identify with. These other people are either unlucky in the type of people they've been exposed to, or maybe they're misconstruing things...I don't know.
